• Aircall Equivalent — VOIP System Rust · Vue.js · WebSocket

  VOIP system tailored for the Algerian market. Applied system-design principles to implement WebSocket and gateway servers for managing stateful connections. Rust handles secure concurrent connection management; Vue.js powers the frontend.

• Aircrop — Agri-tech Backend Go · AI integration

  Core backend for a startup managing agricultural fields and generating health reports from drone imagery. Built in Go for performance and developer ergonomics. Collaborated with the AI team on model deployment and integration.

  Supervisor-worker cluster over TCP/IP with dynamic node registration, a custom discovery protocol, and real-time membership tracking.

• AI-Powered E-commerce App Python · Flask · OpenAI API

  Integrated the OpenAI API immediately after public release to enable natural-language product search — the AI parses user queries and generates precise database lookups.

• C++ Matrix Library C++

  Householder QR decomposition implemented from scratch. Analysis of numerical stability, CPU limits, and floating-point constraints. Achieves superior stability over naive approaches for matrices larger than 13×13.

  2023

Academic (ESI)

• CDN Solution — Implementation & Deployment Python · HAProxy · OSPF

  Led a team of 6 to build a CDN serving educational content (documents, videos) to students nationwide, with nodes in Algiers, Oran, Constantine, and southern regions (TTFB < 200 ms). Used HAProxy for load balancing and OSPF on VMware for network simulation.

• Bin-Packing Optimisation Python · Metaheuristics

  Led a team of 5 implementing tabu search, then developed a hybrid metaheuristic combining water wave optimisation with simulated annealing (BFS + DFS) — achieving highly competitive results. Extended into a formal publication (see Research).
